Chapter 5:
Justin Underwood
"Adeline?" I asked.
"Yeah?" she said.
"Um, did Josh ever get back with you?"
"Yeah. He finally texted me!Can you believe it? Finally, after two months," she glowed.
"Oh."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm fine. I gotta go. Dinner with the family tonight."
"Okay. Bye!"
Oh no. I mean, it's great that he's finally talking to her, but he was terrible to her. i bet he thinks he can still get her. Yeah, well too bad. I'm hers and she's mine now. I'm even gonna ask her to be my girlfriend in a little while. I need to learn more about him so I can maybe get in touch with him.

"Hey, Adeline," I said.
"Good morning! Why are you here so early? It's nine. I just woke up and took a shower. Notice my hair is still damp," she said.
"I know, but I decided that we could spend the day together. Only if you want to. You're not tired of me yet, are you?"
"Not yet. Sure. Lemme go finish drying my hair. You can come if you want."
"Great."
I have to figure out who he thinks he is. I'm not so sure how Adeline is gonna like it so maybe I just won't tell her. She doesn't have to find out.
"So how's Josh?" I asked
"Um, he's fine. I think he's upset that I'm dating you. Why?" she asked.
"I'm just worried about you."
"Don't be. I'm great because of you,"
She's sweet, kind, and caring. How could he give her up so easily? Without even thinking about how crushed she was? He really hurt her and I have a few words to say to him about that.
"Yeah?" she said.
